hi Nico, wow, congrats on your new reverso, it is truly beautiful!!! currently, i am also looking for my first reverso, my eye is on grande GMT (old model). what do your view if compare your Duo Date to grande GMT? cheers, stefan

This is not my new Reverso, my friend. It landed a few weeks ago at the Paris Boutique, and most generally, at the JLC ADs. As I said, I prefer the size of the simple Grande Reverso, I mean, the Cal 976. This one is a bit too " quarred " for me, but I als... 

When will you reveal the Reverso you may add to your collection???? As for this Duo, I think it is lovely although nothing particularly special other than the size , which may suit some people more than others. Initially, I was turned off by the date aope... 

As I have some impressive stuff in stock to post very soon... As for what i hope to be my future Reverso, it is just a miracle... something I was waiting for a long time, I locked, and now I have to pay... But believe me, the wait is worth it! Best, Nicol...

I would like to see the comparison in person between the case sizes you mention. This watch should join the Reverso GMT and the Geographique (and the Duo) as a travel choice. The ability to flip the dial upon arrival in another time zone is about as easy ...

I like the complication - it's pretty much how the Duo and GMT Reverso's should have been. But the watch is big and I don't like the date on the main dial. I'm sure it will make people happy but I would much prefer to see that movement without the date in... 

The miracle of the Grande Reverso is not obviously the same here. while on the Grande Reverso, the bigger case still keeps an awesome harmony, here, to me, it is a bit too big. Nonetheless, without this large window date, it would have been, once again fo... 

the grande reverso: 30x48.5 follows exactly the design rule of many reverso, known since the greeks as the golden proportion. a rectangle that has is bigger side exactly 1.618 times bigger than its smaller size. the reverso duodate is in fact slightly lon...

I think the original Reverso Duo watch in the rose gold format captured my heart in the movie "The Thomas Crown Affair" where Pierce Brosnan was starred wearing this watch. I feel the original Reverso Duo had a certain aura about it that made it a truly e...

I understand your concern over the rather unusual date window. Still, I find it unique and somewhat radical in design, adding further assortment to the whole Reverso family ambience. As for your new acquisition... Are we talking about a spherical movement... 

I'm sure that many will be pleased with the combination Date / Double Time Zone, and won't pay too much attention to the large window date... As for my next purchase, no...This is not this one..Not at all. I would say " Back to the roots ..."... Well, I s... 

The case shape is well balanced, the dials are nice BUT I really find it too big. And when a watch is too big, it loses its elegancy. Fr.Xavier

Quoique.. It is not really a matter of size... If you look at the Grande Reverso, the proportions are ideal, and the watch, even if big, keeps this charactaresitc elegance of the first Reversos... The Duo Date doesn't have these perfect proportions, being... 

and I much prefer this in stainless steel. It is a largish piece but the thinness gives it a good proportionality. It sits a little large on my wrist but it is such a gorgeous watch that I don't care Thanks for the great post BTW
