Welcome to the club,my friend, and happy to see that you changed your mind. The Pola which only has luminous hands will be the Boutique Edition, and the noe you show in your pic is the LE of 768 pieces, available worldwide... Indeed, my friend, very happy... 

and it is a HEAVILY oversubscribed club too! I did in fact go for the 1968 which appealed to me as a more sporty looking watch. The prototype only had luminous hands and I am hoping that the actual watch will have luminous batons and alarm triangle too. S... 

Polaris editions 1965 and 1968 but finally decided that I will like the 1965 better in the long term. Close call though Asi

First off, great watch, congrats! Secondly, can you explain how that center portion of the dial with the arrow functions? (Probably a silly question, I know, but I am looking at it and not sure how it is set, what part of the Polaris rotate for timing, et... 

You use the upper crown, and the disc at the center will rotate till you're arrived at the good hour for the alarm... Best. Nicolas
