How is it done?
My AMVOX 1 is ringing by far much louder although with more 'metal distortion' than my Memovox International and I have to say I appreciate the sonic differences as they match each of the watch's character.
Could you shed some light how JLC managed to achieve the vintage cricket sound of the TTDS vs the hanging gongs of the recent alarm wrtches?
I hope i can pick up my TTDS soon and this question has been burning under my nails for quite some time so thanks for bringing it up!

I am so used to the clear and bracing ring of my Amvox, which I do love, that this was a big surprise.
My Paris Tribute sounded

I had had the same thought
when the alarm first went off - that underwater the vibration would be the important means to "sound the alarm" that time is running out. Glad to know that this is normal. The TT DSA is very charming.

although I dont use the alarm as it barely rings, but that makes it more beautiful, no
