I agree. I am having a hard time justifying the prices
of some watches (from any manufacturer) recently. I get it, its all about the heritage, legacy, movement,
case material etc. But THOUSANDS of dollars for a time and date only watch is a bit absurd. I will always
wear what I consider to be a nice watch, because I refuse to wear a so called "tech watch" or use only
my phone to see the time.

I've been thinking about getting a salmon-colored dial for a while now.
And these JLCs are exactly to my liking. What a shame that JLC's pricing has become, in my opinion, completely absurd in the meantime.

Lovely looking watches but seriously Jaeger-LeCoultre I really expect better from you then cheap and nasty dishonest marketing tricks!!!!!!
These really are some quite beautiful and classy looking watches but the one thing neither of them are is anything even close to being is an Ultra Thin watch in fact they would struggle to even be called Extra thin. I mean just look at the specs for these...

Otherwise it should say JLC Master Date with Ultra Thin movement or JLC Master Moon with Ultra Thin movement wouldn't it? Also are you aware of the size of the movements on these watches? Which are a simple time and date watch and time date and moonphase ...
Nice new dial
Great new dial variation! Some "live pictures" show a rather rough surface compared to the press pictures. Let's see how it looks in the hand and on the wrist. As an owner of the black dial variant I find it interesting that the winding rotor is mentioned...
Love the dial treatment.
It works better with the moonphase, in my opinion, though I agree that JLC's pricing has made some rather athletic leaps of late. :-(

The moon doesn’t have the date disc issue of course 👍🏻
Is the price out of range? Haven’t checked 🤷🏻♂️ The automatic might be as much for the salesperson as the customer - seemingly they cannot always reliably tell the movement types apart 😉
