Hi,

The watch stands for itself without the car brand. And probably even without the watch brand!

I have to confess that there is no risk - or no chance - to sell me any Aston Martin. My choice is already made and it is only a matter of means! I don't need any salesman!

So it may take a very long time, who knows?  But yes because of that the fact that there is no car brand on the dial, even as glorious as AML, was another factor to choose this one.

If I had the car (anyone), I'd have the means to buy other Amvoxes at the same time, and I could stand to bear a watch with a car name on the dial.

So far I must confess that I have several friends who know nothing about horology but know the Amvox 2 because of the AM connection. But some people have seen the Amvox1 on my wrist now (8 days already) and nobody has talked to me about AML. Perfect!

As I have its twin sister, and very happy to own it too. BUT, Bill, please tell us more about the key... Don't tell me you also own the car that goes with? If yes, you'd have to take pics of both the watch and the car, in the "Magali's style"! LOL

JLC really did an amazing job. I think the final wining move was not to the Aston Martin name on the face plate like many other brands have done. The approach they took was much more respectful to the user who wanted to have a watch they loved without the...
