JLC really did an amazing job. I think the final wining move was not to the Aston Martin name on the face plate like many other brands have done. The approach they took was much more respectful to the user who wanted to have a watch they loved without the branding of a car they may or may not own. There are few who failed because of the practice but in my opinion they thought the brand of the car would sell the watch where in actual fact the watch sells the watch and the associations simply means the buyer probably associates with the car maker in style and fashion and the brand is making showing their similarity through the watch styling.
I hope that these brands can take a page out of JLC's play book next time they make the move.
Jerome you made an excellent choice as the others on the thread. Beware the "watch " silent salesman may try to sell you the car so keep up your guard. LOL.
