I am almost sure that I was 'playing with' the prototype
at the Boutique. At the Millbrook test circuit I think I had a production version, although not too sure on that one.
The watch is light on the wrist because of the titanium casing. It is to my mind just a little bit thicker because of the way the outer case now captures the inner case entirely and there has to be room for the pivot to operate the chronograph.
My wrist shots, as usual, do the watch an injustice, so I have borrowed FrXavier's photo to illustrate the production version:

I have to say, seeing the various AMVOXes II- VII lined up in that photo, helps me to appreciate the design of the new 7 better. I am getting to like it very much. The re-design of the caseback to curve more so as to conform better to the wrist seems like...
