Interesting that the power reserve is the limiting factor - Would also mean that between the septantieme and nonantieme, they traded the power reserve indicator for moon-phase? They both have time, date, second, day/night indicator - and the 70th have pow...

I, too, like the "drifting jump hour," but would have preferred a 2nd timezone. Especially since the front is SO practical with the date and poetic with the moonphase. -Dean

I actually like the verso side quite a bit. It is so beautifully executed I think I can live with the imprecise sliding hour display. Regarding the recto side (and also many modern-era reversos), I'm not a big fan of dauphine hands on a reverso. I love da... 

I agree with you. The movement isn't perfect. Nor is it executed in a special material like the 60eme and the Septieme which were in gold. This seems like a less thorough redo. That 60eme is really a special watch. All the rose gold limited edition Revers... 

.. on a personal note, I also would have liked a Dual Time version; you might as well use it for a 2nd time-zone, Or, if one likes it, simply set the charming Verso time and the Recto reading for the same time; thus two faces for the same time. Alltogethe... 

Thanks my friend, great writing! I fully agree with you, the aesthetic is sublime and execution quality cannot be questioned. However, I also agree with your slight disappointment on the movement: two time zones and an instant hour change would have made ... 

A very accurate review, detailed and you prove your points. I have two Reverso’s, it funny my wife likes the bigger one and I like the Tribute burgundy dial smaller one. Regardless this is not the watch for me but I will be looking fo r the older versions...
