I have the Dualmatic--it is very robust

 

I wear mine for everything a daily beater must endure and then some. It swims with children, mows the lawn, gardens, bikes (mountain biking), goes fishing, hiking, does dishes, bathes children, changes diapers, goes running, weight-lifting, what else? It was the 1-watch I took with me to Disney World, and I have 2 small boys (now 2.5 and 1 year old).

Seriously, it is easily as robust as any Rolex sports watch--the polished case can accumulate scratches, and I have a ding or two and a few scuffs--but I have no worries about doing anything that will harm it. The movement and case are very rugged indeed (and with plenty of WR). I highly recommend the rubber strap as well--it's very well made, comfortable and perfect for any activity.

All I can say is that I use the Master Compressor Memovox as a daily beater. It goes with me hiking, fish, diving, to the gym… Of course it bears the marks of using but it wears it with pride! I wrote a post about it some time ago… MCM vs AMI Best Blomman... 

I would consider it as a Daily beater, PSV.

Without particular problems. Now, if you let it fall from the first floor, as any other watch, you may have issues, but in normal conditions, you would not have problems. A watch to consider, truly. Best, Nicolas

With all those kids the watch will be fine, but you'll need to be more robust for sure! Somehow my Dualmatic never seems to get as exhausted as I am at the end of a day... Cheers, Daniel
