The Dualmatic and its new iteration...
the Master Compressor GMT, are the purest form of the Autotractor movement, which was 9 years in development. It is singularly the most robust movement ever produced by the Manufacture. I think it is a great watch, if you want it "pretty" (the Compressor has a nice bracelet with brushed & polished links, etc.).
BTW, you can also get this movement in the Compressor Diver GMT, the Reverso Grande Automatique, the Squadra Hometime (I really like the black dial on articulated rubber), and the Master Hometime/GMT.

All I can say is that I use the Master Compressor Memovox as a daily beater. It goes with me hiking, fish, diving, to the gym… Of course it bears the marks of using but it wears it with pride! I wrote a post about it some time ago… MCM vs AMI Best Blomman...
I would consider it as a Daily beater, PSV.
Without particular problems. Now, if you let it fall from the first floor, as any other watch, you may have issues, but in normal conditions, you would not have problems. A watch to consider, truly. Best, Nicolas

Yeah...
With all those kids the watch will be fine, but you'll need to be more robust for sure! Somehow my Dualmatic never seems to get as exhausted as I am at the end of a day... Cheers, Daniel
