The only formula I know of in that form describes the resistance of a thermistor at temperature T, but I've only seen it written:
R=R_0*exp(B*(1/T - 1/T_0))
Where R_0 is the initial resistance at the initial temperature T_0 and B is a material-specific parameter.
I'm sure the formula comes up often when dealing with differential equations. Now my curiosity is piqued, I'd love to know what JLC book that's from.
