Yes, but well, with an Alarm, this is a different story... Yes, from memory ( but I have to check ), I think the bracelet comes with micro adjustments. Next time I will take some pics of it.

True. But with alarm, i’d go 50th albeit limited ed. For the mariner, i’m ok without alarm as it’s a reinterpretation. Thinner, too, by a millimeter. For polaris, it’s best with the alarm as the look is more closely tied to the ‘68. Something to see..

The sapphire case back doesn't affect the tone of the alarm in the quality, but a bit in the volume.

BTW, there’s a rubber strap that you can get for this. I have a pair, but I haven’t tried them on.

I think so, but I am not a big fan of this rubber strap. I would love to play the " customized " card, here.

That's totally understandable. I for one love this modern and fresh interpretation of the Polaris, a bit like what role is doing with the Submariner or the Deep Sea Dweller.

Looks great, thanks for the review! These on the wrist photos are more compelling than the marketing shots. I don't know about the price for the memovox version but the date version seems fairly priced

Well, exclusivity, here, yes and no. Yes, because they won't make many pieces per year, no because it is not limited, nor in time nor in quantity.

Let's say that most of the owners will not use it for its purpose. ;) It is a school bell ring, my friend. No doubt about that. Now, it s not as loud as one with a solid case back, that's true.

The fact that it has the beautiful ring adds many points in my book

Yes, both have screw-in crown dedicated to the bezel. They did it because they consider ( I think rightly ) that divers more often use the bezel than the two other crowns.

Downgraded, most probably our new friend meant that it was because of the tungsten rotor instead of being partially made of gold.

Not aware of dial issues. As for design issues, I don't think so. But to each its own. As for the respect to Polaris History, I think that modernizing the Polaris is not a bad thing, but, once again, to each his own.

Interesting you bring up the Bathyscaphe, in looking at the Mariner, the Bathyscaphe was the first thing to come to mind

Ah, yes, I had seen that, I was wondering if there was anything else since JLC touted this as a slight upgrade to the previous but maybe with a little cost cutting

Thanks for your feedback, David. It is such a delicious dilemma to have. For me, It would be, in this order, the vintage, then the TT Polaris, then this Blue or and the 50th Anniversary.

And another one which is obsessing me a bit... The Polaris WT Geographique.
