Now that this has resurfaced from June.....

 

and I somehow read through the whole thing...I'm curious as to what the outcome was!


Did you take delivery of a replacement?  How is it?  Love it?? smile


On a side note, I'm a new JLC owner, have posted 2 of my JLCs here not long ago (now 3...well technically one is my wife's) and although I haven't had the need to send my watch to service, I did have to replace the piece I purchased initially.  I got the reverso TT 1931 and there was a ding in the case when I unwrapped it at home.  It was near the place where the case pivots.  I go back to my AD and he said that it was unacceptable and would send it back to JLC for a replacement.  I got it around 3 weeks later and although the case numbers were different, newly stamped card etc, the ding was still there.  I just try not to think about it as it is minor in my view.  If I wear it, it'll most likely get a ding anyway :p  And for sure I will wear it all the time!  Just sharing my experience with a JLC.  I have subsequently bought another JLC and will continue to support the brand and its beautiful pieces!
