A situation such as this should never happen in a company such as JLC....

If this is the case indeed, then JLC should really make it up to you...
Stating that the dial was replaced and no doing it is not only unacceptable but alsoi illegal....

If I was managing JLC, I would replace this watch with a watch of your choice even with a slight greater value
and double the warranty period in order to demonstrate and prove that the incident was just an bad accident
(and of course take care of the internal problem)

Personally when I had a problem I had been treated excellent by the direct management and direct representatives
of JLC...

My suggestion would be to deal directly with the management of JLC and not indirectly...
