Off to Switzerland.
Sadly, but not unexpectedly given it’s age, my EL2 stopped. It stopped with a full wind and the chono not running. I sent it for service and was told it will need to head to JLC in Switzerland, which is not surprising for a watch of this complexity. I doubt I’ll have it back by New Years. But I have more faith that the Grande Maison will get it right.

The adjustable clasp seemed a bit gimmicky to me, but once I figured out how to adjust it, I found it very helpful to get the perfect fit. It is also such a beautiful mechanical design. I only received the gator strap but added the rubber for a more casua...
