patek 5146 or JLC reverso GMT ?
i own a reverso GMt myself but would like to buy one as a wedding prez for son-in-law or otherwise a PP 5146.
reason i'm considering PP is the obvious provenance and the undoubted detail in their workmanship (which i will happily admit surpasses that of JLC when viewed thru a loupe). Also, more well known for my future son-in-law & his crowd.
however, i am also considering the reverso as it will then 'match' mine as a kind of inside family thing. Plus having owned one for some time, i know how endearing it will be to him in longterm.
price-wise, actually not much difference between the two.
any advise?

Why not a Master Calendar....
Since it is closer to the 5146 in complication offering? 39 vs 40mm, Annual calendar vs simple/complete, and the price difference NEW would be huge. -Dean
