Sorry to hear that.

Mechanical watches are .. well mechanical watches. Sometime they do behave abnormally and if it should break down after 11 months, then get JLC in Hong Kong to fix it. Bring it in to the AD that you have bought if from, if you really want to make sure - bring it in to the boutique (I think there is one at Pacific Place in Admiralty). Tell them your experience and I am sure they will see to it that they fix it to your satisfaction. Afterall, it should still be in warranty.

As for the strap being fixed the other way from earlier - I do believe you are right, they need to have it taken down before any work that requires opening of the case back is done on the watch. So get them (they do it at the boutique if you wait) to reverse it.

As for the watch is now running one minute slower in a month - I think it is still pretty accurate (about 2 seconds a day). If you wish to have it only at several seconds a month - again, you can get it regulated by sending it back to JLC. But honestly, I think achieving several seconds a month deviation will be trying. Not easily achieve.

As for watch being magnetised - yes it is a possible cause for watches to run faster or even slower. And yes, a watch can get magnetise in a month. It depends what happen during that month - you may have place your watch somewhere with very strong magnetic field (without knowing it).

I owned quite a few watches myself, in fact I have the master 8 days, and most of them runs fast by a few seconds a day. My master 8D runs at +11s a day and I have yet to get it regulated. It is just me, I am not too bothered by this magnitude of deviation. What I will do is to ask for it to be adjusted at the next service.

Lastly, I understand you not happy with this experience. I too have brand new watches showing problems when it suppose not to have any. I too, was not happy and even complained to the AD, but then a watch is a mechanical instrument, so it does happen. We will always want our watch to come perfect.

So send it in again if it bothers you so much and enjoy the watch.
