I have never really considered buying a Duometre, but I should! They are fascinating and the finish of the movement looks great. I look forward to the JLC announcement on Tuesday. All the best, Jon

I agree that the Duomètre is a model with a definite singularity.

Your wishes will probably soon be granted - not in terms of split-seconds and tourbillon models - but in terms of price... It's the now famous Golden Ratio.

Several of us have begged JLC to maintain / extend the Duometre line. A few of us suggested this or that improvement. But for years the manufacture - and it's not the only one - hasn't really paid attention to enthusiasts... clearly preferring to give int... 

I do agree that the use of ambassadors and the over attention to social media personalities blinds me with angst, I don't believe that the choices made by JLC is not dictated by them (well, I hope not).

I do believe that the emphasis on Reversos (a line that I also have sampled more than just a few) over the last few years was dictated by its popularity and clearly a marketing decision. A nod was given to the other lines but the Reverso was the targeted ...

The first QL was not a solid dial… Which tourbillon ? With or without moon ? The chrono is THE DUOMETRE for me considère the concept. A very good choice ! Best Ø
