You are correct its a gorgeous watch. The case is in great condition and doesn't need anything.. only the bezel is marked in quite a few places. It looks like it needs the bezel popped off, and a good clean.. bezel polished. I have thought about replacing the bezel but no idea what one costs. If its like under $200 I'd consider it.. but more than that, I'd rather buy a ABP strap I think 
At the end of the day, when buying a watch you want to KNOW the exact condition prior to purchase.. so you can make an informed decision to buy a watch with dents etc not get a surprise when it arrives. Id' have probably bought the watch anyways.. but I'd like to make that decision myself.
I'm in no hurry to buy another watch let me tell you!

I didn't care much for the Moser.. it wasn't a Master Compressor Geographic therefore I wasn't interested in it! I only had eyes for the JLC

If yes, this can be polished. Now that you finally got YOUR watch, enjoy it, time will help you to forget all these issues which will disappear with the dent on the bezel. Congratulations on your first JLC... It may well be the first of a long series! All...
