I favor the steel reverso chrono very much and I agree on the rose gold small seconds!

But the blue dial looks to be a different blue than the small seconds version, yes? The chrono side is amazing.

I prefer spartan dial Reverso Chrono

Interested to have a look at the steel chrono, looks nice. Price is a bit steep however (24k€) I'd rather fancy a mariner memovox, for that price did you get my text btw ?!!

but isn’t it a beauty!!! It’s just what I wished for at the Reverso exhibition though I doubt I had very much to do with the decision lol Not sure about the white tips of the chronograph hands but otherwise it’s a beauty…I heard it was 20,000 euro in stee... 

The first person showed me printed JLC literature that stated 20,000….the second person told me they were still deciding between 20-25,000…also that it wouldn’t become available until November

It might look 'different' to what we are used to, but the painted segment on hands was featured in the central seconds reversos from the late 1930s. Back then I think it was mostly on the black dial executions whith central seconds chapter ring. This was ... 

I agree with you, that rose gold black dial is beautiful! The chronograph is a not a novelty in terms of movement but looks great! I love that Hybris but totally out of reach 😀 Best, E.

the movement on the left side, especially the top corner but then opened it up in the centre….I also love how they've got 38 jewels engraved…the previous model had 35 or 37 depending on age….so I’m hoping they’ll randomly create a 36 or 39 jewel version l... 

The updated movement has time on the chronograph side, which its predecessor did not have. My question is whether there’s a gmt function—I’m guessing not since it wasn’t mentioned. My biggest issue with price. I have sort of gotten used to watch inflation... 

Actually nothing really the "NEW"? Reverso chronograph is a reworked version from the 90s. They increase the prices 25% in one year and instead of put the money in the actual product it seems that they put it to advertisement. Don't get me wrong,I still ... 

Surprised, no. They are consistent with the direction they take for some years, now. More expensive watches again and again, no innovation except in the superlative high end extra terrestrial universe, variations and evolutions rather than real novelties.... 

As for the Reverso Chronograph, it seems that they improved the original movement by adding a second time zone in the back dial and the balance wheel is now regulated by variable inertia. Anyway i will wait your in depth information on the movement. Best ... 

it’s not a second time zone….it’s fixed single time front and rear (which I don’t personally have a problem with)

these days somme high end brands bring out extremely complicated watches, but imho forget or underrate the importance of the overall design. JLC excels at both! Bravo!

It's pleasing to see the chronograph back in the Reverso lineup, it remains a relatively attainable marvel of engineering. In addition to the feature revisions, I look forward to learning whether the movement has undergone any technical upgrades. Power re...

On the flip side (pun intended) the tribute tourbillon and the new versions of the simple one look great.

Hodinkee have pics of the steel chronograph with a grey dial….and chronograph hands with full blue rather than the silver tips on the version in the JLC website

The grey dial is what I was shown (in picture form) several weeks ago at the boutique including live pics on a wrist…I was somewhat confused by a comment on your JLC wish list thread about the dial being blue but I guess I saw the prototype as the JLC web... 

On the JLC UK website the steel tribute chronograph is listed as £21400 but Hodinkee state $21,400….and the new steel tribute small seconds as £9600 when Hodinkee states it as $9600….for the latter model that’s an £800 premium over the far prettier sunray... 

For some reason it is not capturing my attention much. Perhaps different story in the metal. ...  

a Baumé and Mercier Hampton in exactly the same colour combo lol

But i wish JLC make some models is medium size . The tribute size is a bit too long for small wrist. I was hoping for TT1931 in medium size.. oh well...

But given that price, I may need to continue to hunt down one of the OG, Reverso Chronographe Retrograde in RG.

For Humble Me the Chrono/Blue would be ok on the Recto side, but with some concern about the Verso, - I don’t really know.. Hmmhh.. 😉 - My Fav here is the Black Tribute Small Sec in RG - delicious but throughout the line-up all the prices have gone up & u...
