That is very upsetting!
When I bought my JLC Grande Sun/Moon in October, because of my smaller wrist, my AD had to order a shorter strap for me in brown color(regular color), it took about a month for the shorter strap to arrive. Now I am waiting for another shorter strap(also regular color) for my MUT. My AD said today it should arrive within the next two weeks.
A year's waiting time for a special color strap is still too excess and you must have a lot of patience. Please let us know what the outcome is.

No eta was given. The thing is that the boutique staff are very helpful and friendly. I think the strap problem lies somewhere else on the chain. I need to think of some other avenue to 'make some noise' cuz there is only so much the boutique staff can do...

I needed a shorter strap when I got my Reverso. It was there in I think six weeks. I believe they did had to make it, thankfully it didn't take that long. This case must be an exception. I look forward to hearing the end of this story...
