Good morning. I have a dualmatic that requires full service. I have received an estimate for full service (apparently because it has the compressor mechanism) it had to be sent to Switzerland) and it seems quite high. what might a "full service" run on a ... 

I'm curious, as I have a Dualmatic as well, and wonder what the service cost will be in the future. Did it include refinishing the bracelet? That can be a lot of work (time-consuming=costly). DJK

My guess is that it would be around 500 Euros, depending on what has to be done on your watch. For example, so you have to change the sapphire, one or 2 compressor crowns, and so on. Best, Nicolas

I had a full service on my EWC in 2007 and paid around $800. I currently have my Master Compressor Geographic in for service and was quoted $1030. It was also suggested that I replace the Compressor crowns (3 of them) because the paint is yellowing for an... 

How three pieces of crowns can cost you more than $1000 is beyond me. They don't feel ashamed ripping off their own loyal customers like that?
