An encounter with a Minerva 13.20 Chronograph.
40 mm white gold case. Superb dial, and what about the movement?
We were surprised by the new 1858 Tachymeter bi colored movement ( Cal 16. 29 ) but it seems that some 16 / 18 years before, Minerva already made something like that.
A great pleasure to see this chronograph in the flesh, and to have been able to take some quick pictures, with its owner's permission.

Wow! That's a marvel from Minerva!
The dial color, texture, layout, printing. The case size, shape, curves. The movement's finishing and visual impact. The perfect movement /caseback proportion. Simply marvelous!

I remember at auction a few years back, something like 20 of these in different metals and dials surfaced. Oh, how I regret not buying 1 (or 2 or 3).

I saw that one on chrono and have actually seen that reference in person -- the yellow Minerva used back then was very very bright, almost too yellow (if that makes any sense). But thanks for suggesting it!
