I like what you say about considering every new purchase as a whole event connected with a niice trip, an encounter with nice friends, etc.. All these memories come back when you wear the watch and also enhance the "act" of purchasing which in this way it is transformed almost in a "rite".
Most of my most beloved watches are so connected and this is part of their charme. Anthe these fond memories return to me just when viewing them!
The blue dial is charming, and the detail of the "Devil´s tail" ... well ... I love that! A true "Devilish touch" which I know you deeply love too!

That is interesting, Andrew. Like you, I would rather go on a different Minerva Chronograph.
A 13.21, for example. With Montblanc Minerva Villeret, I wooud do the same thing that I do for other horological brands. No 2 watches with the same movement. Best, Nicolas

A really enjoyable article and the photographs of the watch with your jacket and the
backgrounds most pleasing, like a great meal, with variety and taste. I am sure this Montblanc is now on my short list, maybe even shorter when I get to test it at the Boutique. The nice quality of having a 7.5" wrist is those lugs will be perfect and now...
The blue of the dial was one of my interrogations, too.

I had a feeling that you would buying this watch! Looks great on your wrist, and a nice touch of buying the watch in Germany. MB needs to use this old logo more on their dials IMO. Looks more sexy than the current logo Retail price of this watch is around...
