I just posted the press release and you can read it here: www.watchprosite.com I will come back to this collection soon. For Minerva lovers, this is a homage to the year the manufacture was founded, back in 1858. I am especially exciting that Mont...
...for those of us who are white metal crazy.... But, this is a wonderful piece - traditional Minerva movement and dial. Would love to see in person! Ken
What a creation from Montblanc. The "mount blanc" logo for the brand is nicely incorporated to the dial layout, too. What a watch! Can you, or anybody else, confirm if the hairspring was/is in-house? As far as I remember Minerva's hairsprings were, but I ...
All Montblanc Villeret movements have hairspring and balance wheel completely manufactured in-house. I am also looking forward to seeing this in the metal! Cheers Robin
Is stunningly designed and finished by hand! Here is a live picture of calibre 16.29 taken by Constantin, of his Villeret Grande Chronograph grand feu enamel (limited 58 pieces) which has the same movement. Of course his watch has a much more finely finis...
Along with all other calibres from Montblanc\'s Villeret manufacture is naturally limited as all parts are meticulously finished by hand. So they can\'t have too many watches with this calibre. I have hopes though... Let\'s see if I can have some good new...
Dear Robin, first of all we should acknowledge that Montblanc is lately overloading you with a lot of new proposals!!! It seems you have a lot of work, as a Moderator ;-) For sure, they're one of the most dynamic Brand out there. Congratulations to Mr. La...
Dear Nicolas, while you're searching for pictures of vintage Minerva military chronograph, please take a look on what I've found on my HD: It's a Limited Edition of 49 pieces realized (I don't know when) for TimeZone forum members. The 49 limited series c...
For your kind words and good feedback Yes there is going to be a steel case with dark blue dial version I don\'t have pics of it this from Montblanc HQ though. I know some folks took pics of this during SIHH 2015. Pls share if you have them! Cheers Robin
this model has been made presented. Mine is ordered, hope to receive in the next months. Will match perfectly with my meisterstuck heritage pulsograph (calibre 13.20)
I have my Pulsograph and old Minerva 13.20 (from around 2000) So nice to have the calibre 16.29 Saw this watch at SIHH and ordered it on the spot, fell in love after one second
Don't know wich side I like more!!! Gorgeous mouvement. And the old MB logo is a smart move. The first time I could imagine to wear a MB. Well done. Best Tempus
But it is a big movement and always in a watch case too big for me! I tried the 1858 small seconds regular edition and it was too big for my small wrist so I have no chance with this beautiful Chrono Cheers Robin
"the steel version of the Montblanc 1858 Chronograph Tachymeter equipped with the Minerva Calibre MB M 16.29. 100 pieces will be made" with a blue dial and presented at SIHH 2016. Photo already available on watch insider. Cheers, Patrickh
Only 100 ex in steel will be delivered, starting from 2016. Villeret production is low as all pieces are mostly hand made. The official presentation will be at SIHH 2016, but already known ;-))). Price is announced at 24.000 euros including 19% VAT. I hop...
Not much I see to dislike in the photo. The numerals are a bit more modern looking, but with the blue dial and being a Montblanc, it works! And those hands... yes, I am highly tempted by it.
To die for ! Thanks for the pics Patrickh! Btw I saw the Orbis Terrarum in Singapore now but only the red gold version. the steel version I ordered is not here yet ... Can\'t wait !! Cheers Robin
