What a creation from Montblanc. The "mount blanc" logo for the brand is nicely incorporated to the dial layout, too. What a watch! Can you, or anybody else, confirm if the hairspring was/is in-house? As far as I remember Minerva's hairsprings were, but I ... 

All Montblanc Villeret movements have hairspring and balance wheel completely manufactured in-house. I am also looking forward to seeing this in the metal! Cheers Robin

Is stunningly designed and finished by hand! Here is a live picture of calibre 16.29 taken by Constantin, of his Villeret Grande Chronograph grand feu enamel (limited 58 pieces) which has the same movement. Of course his watch has a much more finely finis...  

What a shame it is so strictly limited in output. Is there a chance that Montblanc will eventually put this movement and dial design in other metals?

Along with all other calibres from Montblanc\'s Villeret manufacture is naturally limited as all parts are meticulously finished by hand. So they can\'t have too many watches with this calibre. I have hopes though... Let\'s see if I can have some good new...

this model has been made presented. Mine is ordered, hope to receive in the next months. Will match perfectly with my meisterstuck heritage pulsograph (calibre 13.20)

I have my Pulsograph and old Minerva 13.20 (from around 2000) So nice to have the calibre 16.29 Saw this watch at SIHH and ordered it on the spot, fell in love after one second

My goodness that is gorgeous.

But it is a big movement and always in a watch case too big for me! I tried the 1858 small seconds regular edition and it was too big for my small wrist so I have no chance with this beautiful Chrono Cheers Robin

The steel chrono might very easily become my first MB watch.... if one could be sourced.

Only 100 ex in steel will be delivered, starting from 2016. Villeret production is low as all pieces are mostly hand made. The official presentation will be at SIHH 2016, but already known ;-))). Price is announced at 24.000 euros including 19% VAT. I hop... 

It is really striking.

Not much I see to dislike in the photo. The numerals are a bit more modern looking, but with the blue dial and being a Montblanc, it works! And those hands... yes, I am highly tempted by it.
