PAM 424 is far from being almost like a PAM 249.
Sapphire instead of Plexy, Logo ( Damn why did they put a Logo on that one??? ) and Date, which is an heresy on the Cali.... The 249 was, in my book, much purer and cleaner. But to each his own, and if you like it, this is the most important! Welcome here...

The problem was that I did not know they have produced 448. If I knew I would take that one. My long time authorized dealer called me and offered 425 and said they had 424 and showed me pictures. I gave it a thought and made my decision, found dealer in C...

he problem with 249 is 42 h PR and plexyglass. 99% of 249 on the market now are scratched, so glasses are just horrible and sellers ask 10k for such a poor condition. Sapphire is better to me.
The plexy is easy to polish. And more sensual, too.
And the 249 doesn't have two major " hérésies " to me: The Date and the Logo... But once again, to each his own! Best, Nicolas
