Officine Panerai

Bruno, I love this discussion

Angelus was a true Historical movement used in the Vintage Panerai..Its interest is not horlogical, but historic.

As for the pre v, you're right, I'd say that the 203/A is around 2 times the price of a 322.

BUT, the fine point with the pre vendome pieces is that they belong to the past, and that Panerai Vendome can't re edit these watches.

These are true pieces of History too, the history of a brand that wasn't touched by marketting, in 1993.

The brand has that " courage" to launch pieces that, at this time, seemed not wearable for everybody, that were criticized by many people, as too big, and even sometimes, qualified as too ugly...LOL

Are you sure Panerai won't do any OOR of these 322 as they did for the 217/ 127?
Don't you think that Panerai didn't value their 322 knowing that people is nowadays completely crazy about a 217/127?
Don't you think that Panerai plays too much the card of the marketting against the true collectors we are, the passionate and watchnuts we are?

Another example, look at theRads with some nice horologiacla movements, like the 163, the Chezard movment etc...
Did you see the value of these watches hitting, rocketting the sky?
NO!

And as for the 322, I'd for one prefer to see the Minerva not reworked by Panerai, as in the Ferrari Bling Bling...

My 2 old French Francs, of course, my ffriend from the " Haut Quievrain"...LOL
Best.
Nicolas
