A Mare Nostrum can be found, even if it is not that easy to get one, indeed. And you know what? This is a Manual wound watch... So, blue dial + SS Case, + Manual Wound movement=A Watch for Stephen! LOL Best, my friend. Nicolas

I really like the Mare Nostrum, I sold mine 4 years ago to fund a Logo. But every time I see one, I think I want it back. But first I want a Pam 36 (you have make me crazy whit your pics on the ham). O man I love that watch!!!!!!!!!!. the brown colour whi... 

And personnaly, I find it a bit more interesting than the 36, even if this last one has a lot of interest, as it is the only Vendome Watch coming with a Brown dial + Tritium Indexes, and a titanium Case... But if you make the Pair Logo + Mare pre vendome,...

the Mare Nostrum as I know you do....fantastic. The 008 has the same texture as well as a hint of brown/grey to it depending on the light. A masterpiece in every category, weight, dial layout, legibility, wrist presence etc.... One of my favorite pieces. ...

I'm not the great collector as you are but I do love having watches (especiall Panerai) in my small collection. Frankly speakin, the Mare is one of my most favorite PreVendomes (besides the 201A and 202A). As you said, the facinating balance on the dial b... 

Some important differences between these 2 references, although they both share a blue dial. The Differences are about the bezel, and the dial: Mare Pre V: A flat bezel, and a different layout of the dial, with indexes which are more located at the center...  

The pics totally clearify the differences between Mare PreV and PAM006 re-edition. I have to agree that the PreV is the true beauty and I dare say it is my most favorite Panerai chrono. I once saw my friend wear it with the Nato strap and it looks pretty ...
