These Macros enhance the beauty of this dark blue dial, contrasting nicely with the honey yellow tritium indexes, show its perfect balance and geometrical layout, and reveals what cannot be seen except with a macro pic, the impressive grained texture.
An awesome outcome, don't you think?

A Mare Nostrum can be found, even if it is not that easy to get one, indeed. And you know what? This is a Manual wound watch... So, blue dial + SS Case, + Manual Wound movement=A Watch for Stephen! LOL Best, my friend. Nicolas

I have been hoping for just
opportunity with a black faced daytona and 008 Mare. A buddy bought a Daytona a few weeks ago but alas a white dial. Still hoping to do so one day. But than again my picture quality is horrifying,,,LOL Cheers Mark in California

And personnaly, I find it a bit more interesting than the 36, even if this last one has a lot of interest, as it is the only Vendome Watch coming with a Brown dial + Tritium Indexes, and a titanium Case... But if you make the Pair Logo + Mare pre vendome,...

Some important differences between these 2 references, although they both share a blue dial. The Differences are about the bezel, and the dial: Mare Pre V: A flat bezel, and a different layout of the dial, with indexes which are more located at the center...
