New PAM00312 - good while it lasted!
Well, after being out of things for a while I bought a Panerai 312 a couple of weeks back. I was surprised to find this evening that it had stopped. Dead as a dodo! I have worn it every day since the 25th Feb so it was not wound down but I gave it a few winds anyway and still no life signs.
Sadly, it will have to go back to RIS (the Panerai service agents for the UK) for fixing. Perhaps the +12 seconds per day that is has been maintaining since I got it has been a precursor of an imminent failure. Doubly sad as buying this watch on a spur of the moment decision gave me a real boost at a low time and now it seems I have to be without it for a few weeks I guess.
Back to the trusty EWC!
Simon

I'll ask for your money back and buy another 312 new one you don't want to have an open watch after only 8 days of buy it. Here in USA you have in some AD up to 30 days to return the watch if you don't like it
