The reason being is it makes it easier to use the chronograph feature because then you can then activate the pusher with your thumb. Montblanc has its monopusher chronograph button at 8 o'clock in its Nicolas Rieussec monopusher as well. Cheers, Anthony...

Okay no hesitation I'd take both. Jokes aside I ordered the 317 so no point in having second thoughs anymore. I like the black look and I think that the monopusher is a great innovation. I'm sure that it will just look great with a white shirt on the week...
