Probably the 127. A difficult question...
Instinctively, I like the PAM 127 more, the brushed 1950s case, the domed sapphire crystal, etc. I don't care for the 1950s lettering on the dial admittedly, but this is easily overlooked.
However, one of the largest goals of wearing a Panerai is to wear something truthful and similar to a vintage Panerai. The 372 truly accomplishes this in great stride as it is very faithful to the original vintage look of many Panerais. However, there is one caveat, the plexiglass crystal is somewhat difficult to live with.
I like both very much. I think ultimately I like the 127 more, but I would more likely acquire the 372 and live with the plexiglass crystal (since it will actually be readily available). One more thought - every time I look at the 127, I'll be thinking about the 203. However, I do like that brushed case on the 127, and every time I look at a 372, I'll notice the brushed portion is missing.
A very difficult question. Assuming both pieces were the same price, I'd get the 203. That's a definitive answer.
Which Panerai would you want to have - a PAM127 or a PAM372 ? And please state why!

127 - is too much doomed - I don't like the '1950' on the dial 372 - even e niver case and if you have the choice between a very cheap ETA and a inhouse I do prefer inhouse

personally i believe its being presented as a raw vintage panerai as possible , unlike the 127 which is like an officer dolled up and had make up applied to his face... in other words with 372 the essence and panerai depth im able to go to is deeper than ...

it's so beautiful in fact...
it's so beautiful that if one can pull off the size I think it really blows away the Pre A and Pre V watches. I know that's somewhat apples and oranges.

Actually, I would have thought the Fiddy would have gotten more love here. It just means Panerai hit a homerun with this piece and I should add, I love the etched 372 dial.

Without any doubt... A better looking a more "correct" re-interpretation of the 6152/1 Even though we can't doubt the charm of the 127.. As I mentioned in my previous posts about 47mm Panerai... But yes, no doubt I'll choose 372 over 127 Best, Sam

372 is a nice hommage to the original but little identity in itself, apart from the stumpy hands off course The 382, now thats an instant classic!

127 - ETA movement - Overpriced/expensive second hand price - "1950" on the dial + 1500 pcs 372 + in-house movement + Relatively cheap if compare to current second hand price of 127 + Dial/case close to original design - 3000 pcs and more You do the math
I love 372 but have to see it in person , so for now its 127 as
the hands of 372 is shorter like 232 and the plexiglass is a bit strange ,need to see and confirm , all these imo. Regards John

its the case design, if ever there was a true homage to vintage Panerai (6152) this is it, just a shame they did not sign it of MM... I adored it the moment I saw it.. now if they put a vintage movement in this..... Imran

Hi from France. For me, it will be definitely the 372. The 127 is a great watch, but i am really not in love with the "1950" markings. The other bad point on the 127 is the almond green of the indexs (as this color is the only thing i do not like too much...
127 only because I don't like the fake patina on the 372
but prefer the inhouse movement over the cheapo $200 movement in the Fiddy.
