Panerai is probably the brand that introduced me into watch collecting.
Still remember meeting him at the Beau Rivage in Neuchatel - what an amazing legacy.
Will be wearing this to honour his memory...

First watch CEO or senior brand person I ever met in person. And a Panerai event was my first meeting with any Purists in real life.

I met him a couple of times. He was what I call a "no nonsense" man. Last time we met, at a Florence function, I tried on the Panerai Due he was wearing in exchange for my 373. The Due was officially presented later THAT evening. R.I.P. Signor Bonati
