This is a sad time for family and loved ones. May you all find peace and solace in your loss.
However, let us remember that Bonati took the brand to both heights and lows (318-Brooklyn Bridge). He had a love hate relationship with the brand he was entrusted with. A true dichotomy.
Hopefully, the new Panerai leadership will release a “Cazzomir” in a limited edition of 318 pieces to honor him.

Very sad to hear of his passing.
I thought he really did a fantastic job with the brand. It is appearing in different places on instagram, very sad if true.

First watch CEO or senior brand person I ever met in person. And a Panerai event was my first meeting with any Purists in real life.

I met him a couple of times. He was what I call a "no nonsense" man. Last time we met, at a Florence function, I tried on the Panerai Due he was wearing in exchange for my 373. The Due was officially presented later THAT evening. R.I.P. Signor Bonati
