Officine Panerai

Thank you José for your always in depth precisions on the topic

I do not consider historical pieces any 2533, 3646, 6152's that are not as modified by G. PANERAI.
I am not interested in any parts that relates to the 'amigos' and less friendly parties that produced look alike pieces, this why I said…
‘To me the only legitimate ties are : Panerai modified versions and (correction of instead of ‘and’) of the Rolex unmodified versions.'
Safe for the pieces housing angelus movements (part of G. PANERAI modifications), the rest is not part of what I can call legitimate, true to the ties or historic’
in short : unrelated or not original pieces’. (+) to me this also includes the Heinz Schomburg requisitioned pieces (unmodified by G. PANERAI)
At best they are related to Rolex history but in most cases they are a fraud and should not be referred to alphabetical letters
The G. Panerai historical pieces were made for the Regia Marina, Marina Militare, and rarely but a few also sold or were a gift from Orologeria Svizzera G. Panerai & Figlio.
*Oh and yes the top right is evidently a fake dial from the ‘amigos’ also promoted by AQU!
