That would be the pam000 for me..
Mid 2000s. Made an impression on me although the first one i tried on my wrist was a 176. There was something about that logo, the ref number 000, base dial that just got my attention. Years later, around 2015 or 2016, I finally pulled the trigger together with the 372 which was another watch that made an impression when it’s debut was discussed in then The Purists. Yeah, it did take quite awhile 
Of course fast forward to the present, I realized that the logo was awkwardly placed below the Panerai text. It was sort of like they came out with the 112 first then as an afterthought wedged in the logo. It also doesn’t help that I’d later be exposed to images of the 201A!

Well, I don\'t know if it was due to being obsessed, inebriated, or just plain random (or all of the above) but I recently purchased a piece which was always on my lifelong wishlist, that I never pulled the trigger on when I started collecting Panerai ove...

Some of the least "Panerai" Panerai are some of my faves... the PAM98, PAM80 and others are super cool even if they didn't have historical precedence. Congrats on finally notching your belt after 20 years. It looks perfect on you!

I'm a bit of a sucker for a display back, so when the 112's came out I was also pulled in. What an era of modern Panerai! Thanks for sharing!! Peter

Really one of those that is always on my mind...
Of those pieces that kept me with Panerai those days. Anyway I am now at three Panerai - maybe there is a possibility of future expansion? Keen on getting a submersible at some point. Cheers Peter
