Yes, first Panerai...
Anthony, it is my first Paneria and was a little hesitant at first. I have not worn a watch over 42mm in a few years but when I tried it on it felt great and really liked the look of the dial, very clean and definitely a strong Panerai DNA.
I really like the matte black dial, the color combination, clean and balanced....just nice to look at !! And it just looked good on my wrist. Will make a great weekend warrior!
I am not that knowledgeable with Panerai's in general but I am happy with my choice.

What people don't realize is that practically almost everyone can wear a 44mm Panerai
comfortably on the wrist as long as you have a 6.5" wrist. Those who are only used to 38mm and 42mm watches and have large wrists just need the perception that they can't wear large watches in their head changed :) Glad you made the transition to the larg...

What I am most surprised at that it is extremely comfortable on the wrist. I am not sure it is about wrist size as much as personal preference. And I sure love my classics, so with AP I prefer my 39mm Royal Oak but in this crazy hobbie and passion I guess...
