The Railmaster is THE one and only watch in the Trilogy, which differs so from the non-limited production models! A good choice!

I have around 9 Speedmaster Pro/Pre-Pro models (each one a different ref. #) and 2 SM 300s (one 165.024 and a modern SM 300 Spectre). What I lack in my collection is any Railmaster!

They told me I can request numbers after putting down the full deposit but no guarantees. It used to be 20% down and refundable, now it's not but you can use the fund towards other timepieces. My local boutique said the same 3rd bullet item. My "boss" sai...

Enjoying mine while waiting for the trilogy too (I couldn't resist) but the spectre is hard to beat

My luck with pre-orders from Omega was fairly bad (was because I'll never order another Omega again). 1. I had the PloProf (2007) on preorder, paid in full, 100% guarantee that it would arrive, waited round 5 months, only to get informed the dealer won't ... 

I've only dealt with the Omega boutique directly for a few years now and I've always gotten a watch I've put a deposit on. I was told by that they would make it happen that I get my RM since I've been a long time client. Good or bad, I think the boutiques... 

Now comes the hard part. The wait

My current faves of this year's fair are the 60th Anniversary RM, followed by the 60th Anniversary Speedy, SM 300, new regular production RM, and finally the Longines 1945 "Calatrava".

I immediately called my local AD for the Speedmaster. When she called me back, she stated that I would need to put the full deposit down, which leaves a bad taste in my month. I will be visiting tomorrow to discuss the details. I really don't know what I'...

That's what made me question their "process." So, the OB or AD you purchased from stated that they refuse to ship it out-state-of-state to save you taxes?

. . . for a Rail that faithfully adhered to the original, and Omega hit it out of the ballpark. I wouldn't be able to forgive myself for passing this one up. Art
