I just ordered my 60th Anniversary Railmaster
direct from an Omega Boutique here in the USA.
- To order one of these 60th Anniversary watches (Railmaster, Speedmaster, Seamaster 300, Trilogy box set) you have to pay a deposit for the FULL amount which they will charge on your card now. This is the new process to secure a LE piece per the Boutique and the only way to guarantee a watch (I didn't need to pay the full amount for a deposit on my LE SM300 Spectre a couple of years ago)
- The Boutique does not know how many units of each LE it is going to get so you cannot choose a specific LE number for your watch
- Since the announcement of the Omega 60th Anniversary watches the Boutique's phones have been ringing off the hook so it's expected these will all sell out sooner rather than later
- They charge you sales tax based on where you live in the USA (by county sales tax rate) plus $40 for next day shipping
- Per the Boutique, deliveries will likely start after summer (around August) even though the website says availability in May. We will see which one is accurate when people start getting their watches
- For the 60th Anniversary Railmaster, my total price including my local sales tax (8.5%) and the overnight shipping was $7,421.40 (not cheap but well below $10K)
- Mine is not part of the Trilogy box set so it will not have the extra "Trilogy XXX" writing on the dial and caseback which is a big PLUS in my book
Now the wait begins and I need to start saving up for the other two 60th Anniversary watches.

The Railmaster is THE one and only watch in the Trilogy, which differs so from the non-limited production models! A good choice!

I have around 9 Speedmaster Pro/Pre-Pro models (each one a different ref. #) and 2 SM 300s (one 165.024 and a modern SM 300 Spectre). What I lack in my collection is any Railmaster!

There is nothing guaranteed from Omega :D I've pre-ordered 3 different Omegas in the past, 0 orders were ever fulfilled. Wait until you strap it on the wrist to celebrate Read below.

I've only dealt with the Omega boutique directly for a few years now and I've always gotten a watch I've put a deposit on. I was told by that they would make it happen that I get my RM since I've been a long time client. Good or bad, I think the boutiques...

My current faves of this year's fair are the 60th Anniversary RM, followed by the 60th Anniversary Speedy, SM 300, new regular production RM, and finally the Longines 1945 "Calatrava".
US MSRP for the 60th Anniversary pieces are

That's what made me question their "process." So, the OB or AD you purchased from stated that they refuse to ship it out-state-of-state to save you taxes?
