Omega

For me 2 reasons..

 

1) easier to service outside of omega (which can be very expensive than Rolex). Of course, if that is not an issue, then it’s not an issue ;-)

2) i like 3 register layouts better than 2 for speedmasters. I think most speedy models with co-ax have this bi-compax(?) layout. I suppose that may change when the old moonwatch bows out in favor of co-ax escapements.

3) oh wait there’s a 3rd one.. nostalgia smile I probably just like the idea of cal 1861 as being the last in the “spiritual” line of lemania-based moonwatch calibers.

Having said all that, the co ax calibers are probably one of the best out there in terms of reliability and precision.
