Hi all, I have a vintage omega watch ( cal 565), case number : 14762 61 SC I search at the wepsite of vintage omega, but i don't find out any information about my case number. So, is my watch fake? I need your help! Thanks a lot. Cevico...

There are many case numbers missing from the Omega Vintage database. Don't expect the database to be complete. It is a work in progress. The 14762 case number corresponds to a Seamaster made circa 1960 that was powered by a cal 565 or 562, I believe. Greg

to add to what Erich has said. the date ie -61 doesnt seem to have started until 1961. i could well be wrong but i dont recall seeing one any earlier than that. before that they had a case ref number with usually 4 or 5 figures and then -7 as the iteratio...
