Great story Bill and I am sure you feel a lot better now knowing

that Omega will get a lot more wrist time than it did the previous three years.

I had to search high and low for a competent watchmaker to refinish the case on my father's beaten on watch which I received as a gift.  The condition (if using a grading scale) was worse than bad.  When I met the watchmaker in person to hand over the watch, he received it with both hands, carefully inspected it, gingerly placed it on his desk and told me to return in three weeks time.   

My father visited me last week and commented on my "new watch".  When I told him that it was the watch he had given me his joking reply was that  he wanted it back !  That was one heck of a compliment to the watchmaker.
