Wow, a huge contrast, indeed!! ...
Even if it is possible that the BEFORE pics, taken with a direct, point-shaped light source, somewhat exaggerate the 'bling' effect, while the AFTER pics, taken at a smoothly dispersed, very soft lighting show the satinized surface better than it would appear in bright daylight, the difference is very large.
Once again, it is made clear why the right watchmaker is so important in our hobby!
