Omega

I understand...

I understand your disappointment...
IMO the watch is too large, the proportions don´t feel right.

Due to its size it does not sit comfortably on the wrist.

2 of the vintage Olympic watches you showed in the beginning of your thread have awfully wrongly restored dials.
And both have wrong crowns.

There is often found fancy description of presented dials on the web. The dial with the olympic coat of arms is not a pre commercial variant, it was regularly sold besides the model with the applied VI.
Usually all 5 olympic rings are in red colour. It is still not clear if there was a regular version with the rings in 5 different colours or if there have been only a handful special orders which were on watches donated to some important persons.
As there is pretty much confusion about the dials I will start a separate thread in order not to clutter this particular thread about the Cortina Milano Olympic.

This is how the crown must look

I was lucky to buy a bunch of these hard to find crowns in NOS condition and in pink gold.
Many of the OT 2850 vintage Olympic Seamasters have badly worn or polished cases Where they look like a piece of soap.
And often are still advertised as mint...  The soft 18K material is prone to heavy wear and loss of the sharp chamfers.
Here is a detail how a near mint case should look.
