It's mostly been sitting in a safe...
so looks pretty much like it did when it was stolen.
It's never been serviced and is 10 years old - so I should send it to Omega for service. Don't want any of those skeleton parts to need replacing - could be very expensive!
As you say Nico - we're partly attracted by the stories. The Co-axial is what first got me into mechanical watches, and this is the watch I wore when I first met the late George Daniels - so it is very connected to my personal watch history.
One of the few that wasn't stolen was my platinum co-axial - which was my first good watch. I replaced the black dial GMT as soon as I could - so I now have the band back together!
Fingers crossed some of the others might surface, the police said not to give up hope.
