collected a watch from the police today that was stolen from me two years ago. Amazingly it is 10 years to the day after I bought it. It's quite a rare piece - and I'm really excited to have it back. Guess I better have it service! Sorry for the poor pict...

so looks pretty much like it did when it was stolen. It's never been serviced and is 10 years old - so I should send it to Omega for service. Don't want any of those skeleton parts to need replacing - could be very expensive! As you say Nico - we're partl... 

Two months after the burglary, I found on the " wilde " market two of them, the Vintage Longines Diver and the 5513 M.N... Still on the hope to find let's say 3 or 4 more, then I will bury the " event " as I want ot turn the page... Best, my friend, and d...

but it was a local store who had a list and pictures from me and the police. Still not quite as smooth as it could have been. But the final outcome was perfect!

i'd love to see it in person one day as i've never come across it before. it does show that you should never give hope. the common pieces will slip through the net, but the rarer pieces are harder to fence as they are easier to trace. get it serviced then... 

Once I have it back from Omega (suspect this will have to be sent to Switzerland - so it may be some time).
