One of my newest arrivals is this 18k cal. 551 ref. 14393 deluxe connie. We all know about the piepan arrowhead so-called mirror dials with the brushed center and mirror finish in the periphery. Has anyone seen a dial where this configuration is reversed?...  

Hi Mike, Is it really mirrored in the center? - in the picture it looks like finely satinated - I have one in silver, but only fair condition and not good for comparison. The center is not brushed it is extremely fine matte... BTW nice acquisition - congr...

Hi Mike. I have seen a few but in case Ref 14381, Looks like yours is a Franken if the Ref is 14393. Best.

And no doubt it is original and not a franken. Do you have pictures of the few you've seen to share Hoi? Would love to see them as I've asked others about this dial and this is the first one they've seen.

It's in Vietnam and I will try to get a few pics for you. Yes, it's should be 14381/82. not 14393 as you mentioned in your first post.

Could this be made for the US market?
