If you happen to go to the market next time and if the same watch is still there, please ask the seller to confirm it is 18k white gold and if the dial is factory-original and had not been refinished or reconditioned, I have a buyer-friend who is keen on it. Just like what you said, the manufacturers are authorized by Omega Switzerland, to produce those pieces. I am happy to learn of this fact.
As days go by, it will be more and more difficult to get a good Constellation 'C'. Once the previous era Constellation models have dried up, there will be collectors hunting for the 'C', needless to say.
The 'C' was produced with a extremely reliable and robust movement, according to our expert, Dennis. As such, there will always be demand for factory-original ones, among collectors. Like you, I have friends looking high and low, for an excellent and unmolested examples. So far, they are not successful The excellent pieces are becoming more difficult to get even now and it will be worse, soon.
