Is not uncommon, not only here but also on other countries, that Omega watches had been cased, in many cases with authorization from Omega, by a 3rd party.
In this particular case, the seller is pretty reliable (and smart, after all he is a seller for a long time) but precious metal is not my area of expertize, so I let it go (I'm hunting for the perfect c-shaped Connie).
